About the photoshoot with model Sofi
Sofi is a young Mexican model whom I met during her short stop in Prague. Despite the limited time, we created a photoshoot that feels relaxed and natural, without any sense of rush or randomness.
At the beginning, she is rather reserved and cautious, but once she gets used to the environment and the pace of the shoot, the nervousness quickly fades. Gradually she opens up, starts to play with the camera, and her expression and energy change noticeably. This transition is clearly visible in the final photographs and gives the series its dynamic character.
Sofi is kind, fun, and very natural in her expression. Working with her has a lightness and joy that naturally carries over into the photographs. The resulting images rely on simple composition, thoughtful work with light, and an authentic expression that comes not from posing, but from the atmosphere of the moment.
